YULETIDE MESSAGE FROM REP. PROF. JULIUS O. IHONVBERE OON, MEMBER REPRESENTING OWAN
FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY, EDO STATE.
..To Owan Constituents.

This is a season of celebration across all primordial dispositions, class and gender. All persons of goodwill must therefore embrace it to reconnect with our Creator, reconcile with our brothers and sisters and with humanity. As we set new goals, let our hearts be open, forgiving, clean and filled joy and goodwill.

We thank God for another opportunity to celebrate with friends and family. Let us use this season of love, peace and understanding to pray for our Nation, State, Constituency and
Communities. We must re-dedicate ourselves and redirect our energies towards building a nation where truth and justice
must reign supreme.

Our democracy is facing far-reaching challenges occasioned by
series of clandestine moves by detractors to ensure that we
do not progress to the next level.

We must do everything possible to strengthen our institutions,
expand democratic spaces, fight corruption and impunity
which are gradually becoming the norms rather than the
exception.

We must support our disadvantaged and challenged citizens
and communities and build a new culture of tolerance and
constitutionalism.

As we celebrate, let’s continue to abide by all safety measures
as recommended by the National Centre for Disease Control
(NCDC) and other relevant health care Agencies towards
preventing the further spread of the COVID-19 viruses which
are now cropping up in several variants.

May the festive season and the coming year bring joy, peace
and prosperity to the good people of Owan Federal Constituency, Afenmai land and Edo State as I pray for a hitch free yuletide celebration.

REP. PROF. JULIUS O. IHONVBERE, OON, OGI,
OWAN FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY
