Videos/ Pictures: Senator Ordia Empowers Constituents With Tricycles, Sewing Machines, Grinding Machines.

In line with determination to ensure self-reliance and sustainable development among the people of Edo Central Senatorial District in view of the present economic reality in the country, the Senator representing Edo Central in the National Assembly, Senator Clifford Akhimiemona Ordia, has presented empowerment items worth several millions of Naira to the good people of his constituency to improve their wellbeing.
At least over 260 beneficiaries from Edo Central Senatorial District at the weekend went away with self-sustainable items, expected to up lift their standard of living.
Items distributed among others are 43 tricycles (Keke-Napep), 90 grinding machines and 130 sewing machines.
While speaking at the presentation of the empowerment items to the beneficiaries at his Irrua country- home, in Esan Local Government of Edo State, Senator Ordia, said the gesture was a way of appreciating his constituents for finding him worthy to represent them for the 2nd term in the senate.
He expressed gratitude to the people for their support, stressing that he could only appreciate the good gesture by giving back to the people of Edo Central Senatorial District, who he described as democrats and patriotic politicians.
He noted that he will continue to deliver on his campaign promises and urged the good people of Edo Central to always remember him in prayers.
A leader of the People’s Democratic Party and an elder statesman, Dr. Chief Francis Ulinfu commended Senator Clifford Ordia for touching the lives of people across board, praying that God will continue to give the senator sound health and great wisdom to do more for his people.
Also speaking, member representing the old Okpebholo in the the house of representatives, Sir., Hon. Joe Edionwele, expressed appreciation to Senator Clifford Akhimiemona Ordia.
Hon. Edionwele, who described the lawmaker as a unique senator, commended him for bringing succour to his people at this period of economic crunch through various projects and empowerment items.
Dignitaries from all walks of life attended the event, leaders of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) across the five local government areas were also on ground to grace the occasion.
A beneficiary, Odia Sylvester, thanked the senator for the empowerment, and promised to make good use of the gesture.
Bright Asekhae, another beneficiary of tricycle from Esan West, called on other lawmakers in the area to emulate Sen. Ordia’s empowerment projects which he scored 80 percent.
Another beneficiary Mrs Victoria, who was also full of praises for the senator, thanked the Federal Government for providing the funds for the empowerment.
