In Nigeria, the Federal Legislative body is referred as the National Assembly, which has a Bicameral Legislature, known as the Senate (Upper Chambers) and the House of Representatives (Lower Chambers). While at the State level, it is Unicameral Legislature, which is known as House of Assembly.

The role of the Federal Legislature is to make laws for the country, represent the people from the different Senatorial Districts and Constituencies.

The Legislature in this epoch, is an assembly of elected representatives of the people that exercises the authority to make laws through deliberation and discussion. It is an institution that makes it possible for citizens to participate in governance. This is done by adequate representation of the people’s mandate.

As such, the consent of the Senate is very important in critical Legislative matter as regard appropriation, appointment of ministers, check on the excesses of the President, etc.

Therefore, for adequate, viable, audible, effective and amiable representation, we humbly present *Chief Arc (Dr) Mike Oziegbe Onolememen for Senate, Edo Central Senatorial District 2023, the people’s Choice.*
