Prince Saturday Iyoha Speaks on his 5 point- agenda for Esan North East Local Government Area.
Prince Saturday Iyoha, one of the Esan North East local government chairmanship aspirants under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has unveiled a five-point developmental agenda for the local government area if voted for and the Council Chairman.
Prince Saturday Iyoha unveiled his agenda to Urbanscoopmedia Monday during a media chat.
He listed the agenda to include, quantitative education, quality healthcare services, infrastructural development, merchandise agriculture, and industrialisation and good governance and accountability.
On education, Prince Iyoha said that education is one of the major industry and vocation in the local government area, and has been the main strength for modern human capital development.
He said education was a deployable tool for modern agricultural and other industrial businesses and enterprises.
He, therefore, promised to guarantee improved quality education above what was obtainable at present.
In the area of health, the chairmanship aspirant promised free health care services for children and the old, support for the physically challenged in the Local Government, improved public private partnership system as started by Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki’s administration, especially with the pharmaceutical and laboratory professionals.
Prince Iyoha, assured residents of the Local government that he will bring his political experience to bear in bringing dividends of democracy to the grassroots if elected as the council chairman in the poll.
According to him, “As the an administrator, I am politically informed to translate good governance into dividends of democracy to the enlightened people of Esan North East local government”.
He however, called on every aggrieved group to shelt their sword and embrace peaceful reconciliation, saying, “Its only in the atmosphere of peace, love and unity we can achieve lofty heights. Together we should stand, it’s a win-win show for us and PDP.”
