As we move through this new month that promises beautiful tidings in spite of the unfortunate circumstances and incidents that we are faced with as a people, may we vow to be beacons of peace and hope, a fearless, bold, courageous, brave carriers of dignity, respect, love, kindness, sympathy, solace, pity, feelings, harmony, empathy, tellers of truth, voice for the voiceless, voice for justice and equity, protector of the most vulnerable in our society and those who are easily targeted. May the power of wisdom, knowledge, intelligence, integrity and compassion be our guide.
