Edo 2024: Dethroning PDP in Edo state Re-Activates – Udebhulu

BENIN CITY-One of the All Progressive Congress, APC, chieftains in Edo state and strong ally of the core APC stakeholders in Edo central, Prince Kelly Udebhulu, said that the processes of dethroning the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo state has just started with the peaceful consensus election of party executives of the All Progressive Congress, APC, at the wards and local government areas across Edo state recently.

In a chat with press men at the state capital in Benin city yesterday, Prince Kelly Udebhulu described the congresses as peaceful, coherent with the party’s constitution and admonished the newly elected party executives in the wards and local government areas to show more steadfastness, zeal and motivation towards bringing back our other party members that mistakenly decamped to the PDP during the last governorship election in Edo state because APC remains their original party.

“My greatest joy is that we have successfully enacted a solid foundation to dethroning the PDP in Edo state comes 2024. I also admonish all wards and local government areas’ executives to display more charisma that would draw more former APC members that decamped to PDP last year back to their original party, the APC, where they are welcomed and regarded. Their sojourn in PDP has long expired and soured.

“My special congratulations go to the newly elected executives in the five local government areas of Edo central senatorial district, particularly Esan west local government executives and leaders for their steadfastness and the peaceful conduct of the election.”

In his conclusion, he thanked the state caretaker chairman of the party, Col ( Rtd) David Imuse, for the successes recorded. And in the same veil admonished the Edo central senatorial leader, Chief Francis Inegbeniki and other party leaders for their matured displays of understanding and unity in the party so far.
